Abstract

This article discusses medical legacy of great scholar and doctor, Abu Ali Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and its influence on modern medicine including digital medicine. Abstract Objective: The study aims to demonstrate the similarity between the principles of diagnosis, treatment and disease prevention presented in The Canon of medicine and artificial intelligence-based diagnostic systems, telemedicine, and electronic health records that are generated today. The article also describes the state policy on digital medicine in Uzbekistan, achievements and problems faced by its introduction. Located at the intersection of modern history, medical informatics and health care management, this study attempts to scientific understand the historical trajectory of medical advance and its continued development.
