The biological impact of the aqueous extracts from Chenopodium album and Achillea fragrantissima was evaluated at various concentrations (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10%). Additionally, 2.5 g of aggregation pheromone was incorporated at a concentration of 10% during the sixth nymphal stage and in adult American cockroaches, Periplaneta americana, utilizing the spraying method on the insect diet. The proportion of insect mortality was assessed after 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 days of treatment. The tests revealed substantial differences in the impact of the concentrations of the evaluated extracts on the mortality rate. The study demonstrated that a 10% concentration, combined with the aggregation pheromone, was the most effective, achieving a 100% mortality rate for both cold and hot water extracts after 6, 9, 12, and 15 days of treatment. The potential advantages of utilizing these extracts and incorporating the insect's sex pheromone into an integrated control program for this significant pest were examined.
